I build governance, risk and compliance platforms — from the data model to the last pixel of the interface.

Code. Compliance. Clarity.

Engineering

Good software doesn’t start with the first line of code.

It starts with the question behind the request. Before I open an editor I want to know who touches the feature, what breaks if it’s wrong, and what the data actually looks like once real users get hold of it. The code is the easy part after that.

In practice that means layered services with clear seams — controllers that only route, services that hold the logic, repositories that own the data. Every input validated at the boundary, every failure handled where it happens, and logs you can actually read at 2 a.m. I’d rather ship a small, boring, correct thing than a clever one nobody can maintain.

Platform Work

Compliance is a data problem wearing a paperwork costume.

I’m part of the product engineering team at Accorian, contributing to GORICO — a GRC platform spanning 200+ frameworks, from SOC 2 and ISO 27001 to HIPAA, HITRUST and CMMC. It replaces spreadsheet-and-email audit cycles with something a team can actually run a compliance programme on.

My work spans the whole vertical slice: React interfaces for control owners, consultants and auditors, the Node.js and Express services behind them, and the data model that ties frameworks, controls and evidence together.

Four years of fundamentals, then a lot of shipping.

Four years at SRM University, finishing in 2024 with a 9.2 CGPA and sharpened well outside the syllabus — on contest problems and cloud security coursework. Data structures under a clock teach you something a framework never will: where the cost actually lives.

Beyond the Code

Curious, pragmatic, and mildly obsessed with automating my own job.

Most of what I learn arrives sideways — a contest problem that changes how I index a collection, an AI experiment that turns three manual steps into none, a review comment that permanently improves how I name things. I keep a low tolerance for repeated work and a high one for reading documentation.

Off the clock I’m usually taking apart something I didn’t build: tracing how a tool works, rewriting a script that was already fine, or explaining an idea to someone until I finally understand it myself. The short version — I like problems that are still slightly too hard for me.
